Design Meets Movement 3.0

Creativity that moves spaces

When young designers shape the future

New ideas, fresh perspectives and lots of creative energy – that's what's behind our current student project Design Meets Movement 3.0 ‘visionlabs – furniture and room systems’, which we are implementing together with the University of Wuppertal and LINAK. The focus is on one central question:

How can furniture and room systems be designed to respond to the working world of tomorrow?

Kick-off in Karben: the beginning of a creative process

Students from the field of product and industrial design are developing modular and future-oriented concepts that combine topics such as user needs, ergonomics, mobility, technology integration and circular design. The aim is to rethink working environments – making them more flexible, more sustainable and with a clear focus on design quality.

The project was launched a few weeks ago at a joint kick-off event at our premises in Karben. The exchange was intense, curious and full of ideas – an ideal starting point for the next steps. Many exciting milestones await in the coming weeks: from the research phase to the initial design drafts to the final presentation at the beginning of next year.

Added value through partnership-based collaboration

Such collaborations offer real added value:

When theoretical design knowledge meets real development processes, spaces are created in which students can experiment, develop visionary concepts and make bold design decisions, and it is precisely this energy that inspires us too.

We look forward to sharing the ideas and design approaches emerging from Design Meets Movement 3.0 with you. The initial results will be published shortly on a project page run jointly with LINAK, offering you an inspiring insight into the design concepts of the next generation of designers.
